CEBALLOS CONSIDERS MADRID EXIT

Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos, who is on loan at Arsenal, has hinted about a summer exit from parent club Real Madrid. The creative midfielder joined Arsenal on loan last summer and is set to return to the capital-based club when his deal expires at the end of the season.

Ceballos told media outlet Canal Sur that he has dreams of playing in the European Championship and Olympic Games next year. Hence, he is desperate to have a solid team where he can contribute to the objectives to aid his selection for Spain.
When he was asked where he could be plying his trade, Ceballos revealed a surprise club that he holds dear to his heart Real Betis. He revealed that he loves the Real Betis side as where he grew as a youngster into a professional footballer. He adds that the feeling there is different compared to other clubs he has played for. This could imply that he is not interested in the rumoured Arsenal offer to remain permanently in England.
He joined Madrid in 2017 for 18 million euros, making his debut in August but under Zinedine Zidane he has been unable to get a permanent shirt. At 23 already, he is seeking for a place to build his identity and become a regular.
Former Real Madrid attacker Michael Laudrup has urged the player to stay in England and fight for his place in the Gunners squad. He advised Ceballos to remain, that he has more chances of getting playing time with Arsenal than with the star-studded Madrid side. Ceballos will access his options at the end of the season. He said he will make consultation with his representatives and make the best decision for his career at the end of the season.
