LAUDRUP LINKED TO BARCA

Pep Guardiola has announced his decision to leave the Catalans at the end of the season and he will leave one of the biggest vacancies in recent footballing history.
Rexach believes that now that Guardiola has announced he is leaving the only real option is to appoint someone who is familiar with the way the club is run.
REXACH WANTS LAUDRUP AT BARCA
Barcelona legend Carles Rexach has said that either Michael Laudrup or Ronald Koeman will be great replacements for the current Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola, who is widely speculated to leave the Camp Nou at the end of the season.
Pep Guardiola's contract comes to an end at the end of the season, while there has been no news regarding the possibility of a new deal.
LAUDRUP CAN'T SEE MOURINHO RETURN
Former Real Madrid star Michael Laudrup has said that he does not see current Real Madrid manager José Mourinho returning to Chelsea in the summer.
Real Madrid manager José Mourinho has been linked with a return back to Chelsea and English football in the summer for a long time now. He was recently spotted in London purchasing houses, but it is not known whether these were for investment purposes or for his personal use.
ERIKSEN SET TO IMPRESS
Michael Laudrup is easily one of the greatest talents to have come out of the Ajax team.
Many are predicting that he will be reincarnated in the form of Christian Eriksen, who is one of the world's most highly rated youngsters.
UNITED LINKED TO 'NEW LAUDRUP'
Manchester United are closely tracking the 19-year-old Christian Eriksen, who is referred in many quarters as the next Michael Laudrup. This is quite a praise for a player who is only 19 years old, but the simple fact that Sir Alex Ferguson is closely monitoring the situation is more than enough to convince the other suitors that he is indeed something special.
Eriksen compared to Laudrup
Despite being only 19 years old, Christian Eriksen has already become a transfer target for some of the biggest clubs in the world including Barcelona and Chelsea. He is often compared to the former great Danish footballer Michael Laudrup, who played for clubs like Barcelona and Real Madrid during his illustrious career.
Laudrup Biography
Michael Laudrup is the former Danish footballer who is known for having represented the likes of Juventus, Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Ajax. He has also managed a few teams during the last decade, with the most prominent being Getafe and Spartak Moscow. He is thought to be one of the greatest Dutch players of his generation. He has also represented the Danish national team in just over 100 appearances over a span of 16 years.
DANES LOOKING TO NEXT LAUDRUP
The Danish football Association is looking forward to fighting the next Michael Laudrup. Now, it’s Denmark’s turn to try. Their previous best finish came in 1992, where they were knocked out in the semi-finals by eventual winners Italy. In that same year, the Danish senior side won European Championship glory against Germany in Gothenburg. With Denmark in a promising position to make the Euro 2012 finals in Poland/Ukraine next year, could the under 21s have a chance to emulate the squad of 1992 and finish high on home soil?
LAUDRUP'S SON SCORES
Michael Laudrup's son, Andreas Laudrup scored two times to give his side a victory that helped them rise in the table. Atle Roar Haland's equaliser earned second-placed Odense a point in a 1-1 draw against third-spotted Brondby in the SAS-Liga.
Brondby's afternoon started badly when Michael Krohn-Delhi was dismissed after 27 minutes, but the 10 men nevertheless took the lead four minutes later through Mikael Nilsson.
However, Haland restored parity seven minutes before the break to keep Odense four points ahead of Brondby.
