English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur are currently in a very fine form so far this season and after winning their first three league games of the new season so far, they are at the top of the league table and they will be looking to extend their stay at the top after the international break.

Spurs recruited a new manager in Nuno Espirito Santo after the club's owner Daniel Levy decided to let go of their former boss José Mourinho following a poor run of results that saw them struggle for form toward the end of last season. Mourinho's sacking led to the appointment of former Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Nuno Espirito and since taking the job, he's had a positive impact on the team so far.

Tottenham had themselves a decent summer transfer window and aside from the fact that they signed a couple of players during the winfoe, they were also resilient enough to hold on to their star striker Harry Kane despite strong interest from Premier League champions Manchester City. Pep Guardiola was so keen to sign Kane for City and he asked the club's board to table an offer to the north London outfit but they didn't bulge and they ended up keeping hold of their star man for at least one more season in the process.
Spurs signed five new players in the summer and they include winger Bryan Gil from Sevilla, left-back Emerson Royal from Barcelona, defensive midfirkder Pape Sarr from FC Metz, as well as goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini and central defender Cristian Romero both from Atalanta. They also had some players back at the club from their loan spells and their former player Michael Laudrup believes that they have a squad big enough to challenge for at least a top-four finish this season.
