Former Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup says that he is being approached by the Japanese football Association in order to become their new national team coach.

Japan have a tradition of appointing foreign managers and after their recent poor performance in the World Cup 2014, it appears that they are keen to make some changes at the top. Laudrup is currently out of work after having left Swansea last season. Regarded as one of the iconic players of all-time, the former Barcelona midfielder has had a lot of success at some of his previous clubs like Swansea and Getafe.

Tate was the captain of Swansea prior to the arrival of Laudrup. The former Barcelona midfielder made Ashley Williams as his captain. Tate has now revealed that the captaincy was stripped away from his hands without prior intimation. He also stated that his relationship with Laudrup was never good.

Michael Laudrup was sacked from his position in Swansea City and the Premier League club has now elected to go with Garry Monk as their head coach. The former defender stated that he is prepared for his first job in charge of a team.

The 49 years Old Danish tactician has responded to the rumors which were linking him with a potential move to Camp Nou as reports are claiming that he is a true candidate on taking charge of the club if Gerardo Martino is unable on winning either La Liga or the Champions League in this season.

Michael Laudrup still can’t believe that he was sacked from the post of manager at Swansea City and is threatening to take legal action against the club. The consecutive poor results resulted in the club taking this decision as Swansea managed to win only one game in one month and the starting of the season was even more disastrous for them losing matches on the trot.
